 "Creating a Pattern Book for Hyattsville," 

The final presentation by master's degree candidates in Historic Preservation at UMD's School of Architecture on the final version of the Style Guide for Historic Hyattsville. The guide will help homeowners to understand the historic development of Hyattsville, provide maps of the historic district that illustrates the changing landscape of the district. It will offer recommendations and information to help property owners preserve and maintain their historic homes. The final product will be available to homeowners in early 2010 via the HPA website: www.preservehyattsville.org.

and the University Park Historical Preservation Association

The 31st Historic Hyattsville House Tour May 16, 2010, 1-5PM 

Sunday, May 16th 2010, 1:00-5:00pm
starting at The City of Hyattsville's Municipal Building, 4310 Gallatin Street, Hyattsville, MD 20781

The self-guided tour will include 9 sites and feature a large, secluded Queen Anne house, charming bungalows with restored interiors, and an 1897 home designated as a Prince George’s County Historic Site.
