An overview of how an older home can be adapted to serve future needs while keeping the integrity of its architecture to the greatest extent possible. Maryland Historical Trust staff will be on hand to explain the Historic Tax Credit program.

Creating a Pattern Book for Hyattsville

The final presentation by master’s degree candidates in Historic Preservation at UMD’s School of Architecture on the final version of the Style Guide for Historic Hyattsville. The guide will help homeowners to understand the historic development of Hyattsville, provide maps of the historic district that illustrates the changing landscape of the district. It will offer recommendations and information to help property owners preserve and maintain their historic homes.
